The main difference lies in the collagen source:
Collagen Plus contains bovine collagen hydrolysate. Collagen Intensive, on the other hand, contains fish collagen hydrolysate. Both products contain vitamin C, zinc and biotin – in the same amounts.
Another difference is molecule size and absorption:
Collagen Plus has a molecule size of 2000–4000 Da, so it is processed by the body over a longer period. The daily intake is 15 g, and the intestine releases the collagen building blocks into the blood gradually.
Collagen Intensive has a particularly small molecule size of just 500 Da. This means a large part of the 2.5 g daily dose can enter the blood very quickly.
Neither product should be overdosed, as they additionally contain vitamins and zinc. With Collagen Intensive, the particularly fast absorption of the collagen building blocks should also be taken into account.
There are also differences in use:
Collagen Plus is especially suitable for coffee, smoothies, shakes, tea or juices.
Collagen Intensive can also simply be taken in water.
