Frequently asked questions

What do I need to keep in mind when taking it?

Take two capsules a day, ideally with a large glass of water – nice and easy.

What time of day is best to take Glow25 Balance?

We recommend taking 2 Balance capsules in the morning about 30 minutes before breakfast on an empty stomach. Alternatively, you can take the capsules during the day – ideally 2 hours after your last meal.

Should I take the capsules at a different time from my collagen powder or other food supplements?

Ideally yes – a gap of about 30 minutes is optimal.

How long does it take on average before the first changes are noticeable?

This varies from person to person. Factors such as diet, gut balance and your general state of health play a role. Many people notice the first positive changes after around 28–30 days.

Can there be side effects or an initial “getting worse before better” at the start?

Yes, that can happen. Some people notice more bloating or changes in bowel movements at first. This is often because the gut microbiome is realigning itself. As a rule it improves again within a few days.

What is the difference between pro- and prebiotics?

The shell is made of hydroxypropyl methylcellulose – a vegan, plant-based and safe coating agent.

Are the capsules vegan or vegetarian?

How do the individual bacterial cultures differ?

Our bacterial cultures are a colourful mix of scientifically studied strains – each with its own speciality:
Lacticaseibacillus rhamnosus & L. paracasei support a balanced gut flora and can have a positive effect on metabolism, inflammation or immunity, for example.
Lactiplantibacillus plantarum, Lactobacillus acidophilus and Weizmannia coagulans help to calm digestion, strengthen the gut barrier and support the immune system Bifidobacterium animalis & Bifidobacterium bifidum are real “balance pros” in the large intestine: they help with nutrient absorption, strengthen the intestinal wall and support a stable, healthy gut flora.

What are active and inactive lactic acid bacteria?

Active lactic acid bacteria are living probiotic cultures – they settle in the gut for a while, support the gut microbiome there and help with digestion, immune function and more.
Inactive lactic acid bacteria, also called postbiotic cultures, are “deactivated” bacteria. They no longer need to be alive to work: their cell components and metabolic products can calm the immune system, support the gut barrier and promote general well-being.
